A really, really easy Chicken recipe!

I said I would share a recipe or two...so here is one for you:

Easy Crock Pot Chicken
1 Whole Chicken (usually I pick these up when they are under $1 a pound and throw them in my freezer).
1 Whole Lemon, pierce with a fork to release juices
2-3 whole garlic cloves or 1 - 2 tsp minced garlic
Lemon Pepper

Ok, this is super easy. Take the whole chicken and make sure all the giblets are out of the cavity of the chicken. Place garlic inside chicken along with the whole, pierced lemon.
Sprinkle the outside of the chicken with lemon pepper.
Place in the crock pot...no need to add any liquid or anything else.

Start crock pot out on high for about 2 hours, then turn down to low for the rest of the day.
This should take about 8 hours. That's it!
Serve with Rice or mashed potatoes...chicken will literally fall apart in the crock pot!

In a future blog I will give you a recipe to use with the left over chicken meat from this recipe!

Hope you enjoy this...it is such an easy recipe.
